Hi! I’m Alyssa. If you cannot already tell, I love reading even more than my twin sister (don’t tell her she WILL shave my eyebrows off) and I’m an amateur writer. A while back, I found myself in a bit of a reading slump- blame it on the repetitive plot lines, characters and settings. Then like a bolt of literary lightning, it struck me; I’d been sticking to the same old authors and countries (not that they aren’t amazing). Now whenever I travel, bookstores are a must-visit so when I left for Finland the next week, I had a mission. I took a detour from the bookshelves, walked up to one of the booksellers and requested a Finnish author’s masterpiece and let me tell you it did not disappoint. After finally rekindling my love for books, I wanted to share this whole world (literally) of books with all readers and ‘The Travelling Pages’ was born. So I hope you enjoy and happy reading!
